In Africa it is the light of the moon and the flickering fire which set the context for the spoken story, but to not capture these narratives as the world rushes towards tomorrow is to set them adrift into the path of the wind, so now these journeys are captured through digital technology and gifted to the future. Long recognised as a unique storyteller, Noel has published various books which combine his thoughts and words as a thinker with his images both as a photographer and as an artist.
His books range from scientific field guides to personal narratives of the wandering whale-watcher, to his latest book which asks what it means to be human in these times of environmental and social upheaval.
